More about the workshop
Prior the workshop we collect as much information as possible about your current technology stack and possible roadmap plans. We strive to get an overview of current capabilities and how well they match your identified business needs. If the illustrated functional areas makes sense to your current situation, they will be used as reference.
Together in this workshop we examine current bottlenecks and technical debt. What are key strengths in your current infrastructure? Known weaknesses? What business opportunities will the organization have to support? Known requirements need to be met? How can we speed up the creation of new services and applications to reduce time-to-market?
At the end of the workshop you should have a better understanding of your current infrastructures potentials and valid input to help build a roadmap and vision for future improvements. After the workshop we deliver a report summarizing workshop conclusions and findings. The report should help your team validate your current R&D planning. It thereby helps provide confidence that your future technical platforms are cost-efficient and adequate for your business needs.
Workshop preparations may vary depending on your current organization. But the workshop agenda typically requires at least one full day (6-8 hours).
For a typical one-day workshop program, we charge EUR 5000.
More about this topic
System agility and DevOps power the rapid innovation cycles of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0. And digitalization in general means you need to churn out new services to meet rapidly changing business needs. As a result, you typically need to merge heterogenous data on hybrid integration platforms (HIP) and use cloud services as part of the solution.
These platforms must be easy to reconfigure, adapt, and extend when the need arises. Adding new (micro-) services should be a simple task. Furthermore, agility means experimenting. To quickly move from Development to Test to Production is therefore essential. And being able to scale, vertically as well as horizontally, is naturally a base requirement.
While cloud services are important, you avoid being dependent on any one of them. For instance, while you need their serverless functions and flexible scaling, you strive to control our Kubernetes setup in a cloud-independent way. Lastly, you platforms must enforce Security by Design.
The figure illustrates functional areas you often need to consider when analysing your infrastructure.
