Celebrating continued growth in Asia Pacific

Earlier this year, we celebrated ten years of operations in the US. Last month we celebrated three years since our office opened in Indonesia.

“Data Ductus has had operations in Asia for the past five years,” says Göran Edin, APAC Regional Manager. “Initially, we opened offices in Japan and Singapore, before opening the office in Batam. Today, we have a talented team of developers throughout Indonesia that support clients across the Asia Pacific region with their network orchestration and automation, and other IT service needs.”

Although the office is three years old, the celebrations were the first time all the employees were gathered in one place due to Covid restrictions. This proved the ideal opportunity for everyone to meet and greet face to face and enjoy bonding activities and games, including a hackathon and raft building on the beach. The theme of the celebrations were the Data Ductus core values.

“We have over 20 developers and architects in Indonesia and we continue to expand as our market grows,” continues Göran. “Clients include some of the world’s largest communication companies and enterprises in Asia and Australia, where our skills and expertise in AWS, Cisco NSO, network assurance, and service orchestration are highly appreciated. Other clients include smaller companies that need a flexible and innovative partner that can scale and help develop their solutions as they grow. Companies like Advanem, a Swedish-Singaporean start-up.”

With the celebrations over, Ductus staff in Indonesia can continue their outstanding work in closer collaboration with coworkers now that they have met face to face, solved different challenges, and made new friends.
