Uppsala Municipality and Regional County recently decided to reduce the number of framework agreement providers from 44 to three. Data Ductus is one of the three consulting companies to be awarded a contract. The estimated total value is 390 MSEK (MUSD 40).

“We are incredibly proud to welcome Uppsala Municipality and Regional County as new customers,” says Fredrik Hagberg, Data Ductus sales manager. “We can now add them to our growing list of public sector clients.”

In accordance with the framework agreement, Data Ductus consultants will act as an extension to Uppsala Municipality’s existing IT teams. Support will include everything from development and management of systems and networks to testing, project management and service desk support.

“We have a fantastic team at our Uppsala office who can help with tackling everything from specialist technical challenges to general IT issues,” continues Fredrik. “We are already one of the largest IT consultancy companies in Uppsala. This contract will see us grow our operations with around 40 recruitments, some of which will be employed in Uppsala while others will be located at our offices around the country.”

Uppsala Municipality represents a number of other parties within the municipality and the Regional County in this procurement. In accordance with the agreement, a number of other organizations associated with the municipality and the Regional County are entitled to call on the help of IT consultants.

The framework agreement will be valid from May 2, 2022. The other two service providers are Sogeti and Chas Visual Management.
