Press release, Skellefteå (Sweden), November 2, 2021: The Swedish housing company, Uppsalahem, have chosen Data Ductus as their provider of network and data communications services. The five-year agreement for the company’s Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) solution, which started at the end of September 2021, is valued at around SEK 12 million.
Uppsalahem wanted a trusted supplier who could take overall responsibility for the office network, guest network, and real estate technical network, across both fixed and wireless connections.

Data Ductus matched our requirements, proving they could provide a modern standardized online service with the flexibility to scale in accordance with our needs. NaaS from Data Ductus, is a packaged solution – incorporating network and associated infrastructure services – that a customer subscribes to. In this way, they avoid expensive infrastructure investments and always have a reliable and modern network that can be adapted and scaled as needed. Data Ductus is responsible for the design of the architecture, installation, maintenance, and support.
The demand for NaaS has increased in recent years, as more companies look to outsource their network operations. As a result, Data Ductus are further strengthening their competence in this area.
