Required Knowledge

  • 2 years of QA experience
  • Strength in a popular modern scripting language such as Javascript, Python, Lua, Bash
  • UNIX & Linux command line
  • Git, Mercurial, or other VCS
  • Familiarity with popular testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, Mocha, Karate, PyTest, Mockito
  • Well-rounded knowledge of entire SDLC (Software Development Life-Cycle)
  • Strong knowledge of testing REST APIs
  • Presentation and communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Load and soak testing

Strongly Preferred Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Swagger
  • Prior software engineering or QA internship experience
  • Network programming
  • DevOps fundamentals including CD/automation tools, orchestration tools, virtualization tools
  • Knowledge of Jira
